Abstract
Data on basic conditions of employment, total wage bills of staff and workers are collected and compiled through The Reporting Form System on Labor Statistics, The Sample Survey System on Labor Force, and The System of Rural Social and Economic Surveys by the Department of Population and Employment Statistics, the NBS. The Reporting Form System on Labor Statistics covers corporate units (does not include township enterprises, private units or self-employed individuals). The scope of survey and estimate of The Sample Survey System on Labor Force are the whole country. The scope of statistics in the chapter is the population aged 16 and over of the whole country. The System of Rural Social and Economic Surveys covers all rural areas below township level in China.
