Abstract

This Book examines the increasing phenomenon of the internationalisation of consumer law. In the last decade, it has been possible to observe that a number of the international organisations, such as the United Nations, World Bank, OECD or the European Union, have become very active in the development of supranational consumer law. This Book focuses on the reasons behind the internationalisation, the concrete results of this process and how the national consumer law have beenĀ been affected by this process.

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Research Council under the European Unionā€™s Seventh Framework Programme (FP/2007ā€“2013)/ERC Grant Agreement n. [269722].
