Abstract

One of the biggest challenges in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is to determine the etiology of patients’ symptoms. There is no single test that is the gold standard for evaluation of patients. A combination of selected tests is most likely to yield an explanation and direct the most appropriate therapy.
