Abstract
This chapter describes the methodology of our work. We present a selection of texts from Condorcet that we have translated into English that will assist us in presenting his ideas. We discuss the choice of educational organizations that we will study (the three Grandes écoles: ENS, X and Cnam) and the method for examining each. Our method of educational organizations analysis is threefold, with the presentation of the pedagogical intention of the institution (i.e., the institutionalized educational idea), its curriculum (i.e., the learning paths of the selected knowledge to be transmitted) and its settings (i.e., the locations and decorum chosen to implement the pedagogical idea).
