Abstract
There are conflicting opinions in the literature about the effects of the urinary inhibitors of crystallization (1). We have developed a simple methodology to study inhibitory effects in real urine and the inhibitory capacity of pyrophosphate, citrate, Mg, and chondroitin sulphate were investigated using the urine of 20 stone formers. The major usual urinary lithogenic biochemical parameters of these individuals were also investigated.
