Abstract
Anemia, monoclonal gammopathies, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and myeloproliferative disorders are more common in elderly people. Despite an increasing prevalence, their detection may be delayed because many signs and symptoms may be attributed by both patients and providers to the aging process itself.
