Abstract
A measurement of the 232Th(n,f) fission fragment angular distributions with incident neutron energies from 1.5 to 1.8 MeV and energy spread of ± 8 keV is described. A channel analysis based on the measured angular distribution is presented. The fragment total kinetic energies were measured simultaneously and a dramatic TKE variation of ≈ 1 MeV was observed over the 232Th(n,f) resonance of 1.6 MeV.
