Abstract
Criteria for selecting Management Information Systems for implementation by the EDP Center are discussed with particular emphasis on the operational, technical and economical aspects. Integer Linear Programming /net present value method/ and General Linear Programming methods are presented in order to optimize project and computer equipment selection respectively.
