Summary
The possibility of reaching ignition in the central core of a tokamak plasma—in spite of sputtering—in the absence of any artificial protection of the wall is discussed on the basis of a numerical investigation of a JETlike discharge.

Sulla base dello studio numerico di una scarica del tipo ottenibile nel JET, si discute la possibilità che la parte centrale di un plasma di deuterio e trizio, confinato in un tokamak, si accenda anche in assenza di qualunque tipo di protezione artificiale della parete.
