Abstract

Mathematics is logical language. In the context of the inner and explained dynamics of Tawhid as law pertaining to the theory of ‘everything’, mathematics proves as a profound medium of thought. In such a projection of the study of socio-scientific philosophy of ‘everything’ the inner details of Tawhid as law extends beyond sheer mechanical usage. In the Tawhidi methodological worldview mathematics as logical formalism becomes the medium of construction of the thoughtful mind. In the most extensive of studies in the area of Tawhid and shari’ah in respect of Islamic studies in economics, finance, science, and society, mathematics has proved to be mechanical tool of use in quantification. In this book we have soared to advanced heights of mathematical formalism in our study of Tawhid as law contrary to the weak foundation of shari’ah in the true sense of universal methodology and analysis. Thus we have addressed the issue of abstracto-empiricism and its sustained continuity across knowledge, space, and time dimensions in the generality and details of the theory of ‘everything’. The attained limit of our mathematical formalism is now the advanced field of contravariant and covariant tensor applied to the theory of conjoint intra-system and inter-system intertemporality.     The precept of Closure and Unboundedness is expounded in the majestic Qur’an (112:1–4) as the central meaning and essence of creation: “In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, say: He Allah is One. Allah is He on whom all depend. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And none is like Him.” Al-Shaykh al-Saduk (2009) writes a detailed commentary on these verses.
