Abstract
Mobile learning is a relatively recent and emerging field of study in technologyenhanced learning. Located within a wider field of information technologies in education, the technological, cultural and social development and use of mobile devices (such as the mobile phone, MP3 recorder/player, GPS units and pocket computer), wireless/3G networks for the transmission of data and cloud computing have provided opportunities to rethink approaches for learning that are based on the mobility of learners.
