Abstract

Proceeding with the presentation of the prosthetic uses of ceramic materials, we shall next consider the applications connected with maxillofacial surgery, which includes ENT and dental surgery. The surgery of head bones differentiates from that of the rest of the human skeleton in that the former does not belong to orthopaedics.
