Abstract

Florida Power and Light (FPL) was first established in 1925. It is ranked amongst the top four publicly owned electricity utility companies. It covers an area of 27 650 square miles, populated by approximately 5.7 million. It employs over 15 000 people and has over three million customer accounts.
