On the Variation of Kuroshio in East China Sea

Abstract

The Kuroshio in the East China Sea (ECS) is an important part of Kuroshio. Its variation is responsible for sea conditions, determines to a large extent the location of fishing grounds, affects the movement of polluting substances, and causes drought or excessive rain in the eastern ECS, and forms the large meander in the seas south of Japan.
