Abstract

The foregoing tale of EmergiMedVan may serve as a parable for the burgeoning moral world of critical-care medicine. While that narrative embodies the main points that I want to express, I would like to add a postscript that suggests more explicitly the themes and agenda for moral choices in critical-care medicine.
