Il Sistema Nervoso Centrale (SNC) è formato dall’encefalo (contenuto nella scatola cranica) e dal midollo spinale (che decorre nel canale vertebrale). Entrambe le strutture sono costituite da sostanza grigia (composta dai neuroni) e da sostanza bianca (formata dai tratti nervosi).
