Abstract

The experiments conducted within the framework of this research work encompassed the implementation of selected computational intelligence methods for the purposes of acquiring and recognizing musical signals and phrases, and for the application of these methods to the verification of subjective acoustical assessments. The problems posed were solved through the use of neural networks, fuzzy logic and rough set-based learning algorithms.
