Zusammenfassung
Tumoren des exokrinen Pankreas sind selten beim Hund. Die Tumoren stammen von den duktalen oder azinären Epithelzellen ab. Hündinnen zeigen eine Geschlechtsprädisposition. Das mittlere Alter betroffener Hunde liegt bei 10 Jahren. Adenokarzinome des Pankreas sind hochgradig aggressiv und eine Metastasierung in die Lymphknoten, Leber und das Peritoneum finden sich zumeist bereits bei der ersten Diagnosestellung. Pankreasadenome sind extrem selten bzw. nicht von sogenannten nodulären Hyperplasien abzugrenzen und sind keine gängige Diagnose des Pathologen.
