Zusammenfassung

Das Hämoglobin (Hb) der roten Blutzellen transportiert molekularen Sauerstoff (O2) über die Blutbahn in die zu versorgenden Gewebe. Im Muskelgewebe übernimmt dann das verwandte Myoglobin (Mb) die Fracht und stellt Sauerstoff für den aeroben Stoffwechsel zur Verfügung.
