Zusammenfassung

Ziel der Pilotstudie war es, in einer prospektiven, randomisierten Untersuchung den Stellenwert der F.O.T.T. im klinischen Alltag zu prüfen. Das Therapieergebnis sollte während der Therapie anhand einer Vergleichsgruppe geprüft werden. Die Pilotstudie wurde im Jahr 2007 erstmals unter dem Titel „Pilot study on a neurophysiological dysphagia therapy for neurological patients“ in der Zeitschrift Clinical Rehabilitation von Sage Publication veröffentlicht. Es folgt die übersetzte und an die Buchfassung angepasste Version.
