Abstract
Two development trends (integrated and distributed) of the vehicle electronic and electrical architecture as well as their advantage and disadvantage are analyzed. Based on the detail research to the distributed vehicle electronic and electrical architecture, the criteria of electronic and electrical function distribution and network design are defined. The criteria are applied to the electronic and electrical architecture development of a luxury car. The pilot car travels smoothly for approximately 5,000 km.
