Zusammenfassung

Dei leptomeningeale Metastasierung oder Meningeosis neoplastica beschreibt die diffuse metastatische Ausbreitung von Tumorzellen in den Subarachnoidalraum bzw. in den Liquor cerebrospinales oder in die angrenzenden Hirnhäute (Leptomeningen). Einige Patienten entwickeln vorwiegend solide und zum Teil knotige leptomeningeale Metastasen, andere eine diffuse Aussaat nichtadhärenter Zellen im Subarachnoidalraum. Oft liegt eine Kombination beider Wachstumsmuster vor.
