Group of cytokines, which are essential elements of the immune system:

Interleukin-2 (IL-2)

It is an essential mitogen and T-cell growth factor.

Interleukin-6 (IL-6)

This acts as inflammatory cytokine and pyrogen promoting IL-17 expression by T-cells, B-cell activation, and activity of phagocytes

Interleukin-10 (IL-10)

This is a regulatory cytokine that suppresses APC activation, which reduces indirectly potent T-cell responses

Interleukin-17 (IL-17)

This is an inflammatory cytokine promoting activation and differentiation of phagocytes and neutrophils

Interleukin-27 (IL-27)

This is a regulatory cytokine suppressing the activation and proliferation of the IL-17, expressing T-cells but promoting the formation of IL-10-expressing T-cells
