Résumé

Le syndrome d’hyperstimulation ovarienne (SHO) peut être défini comme étant une pathologie iatrogène secondaire à l’administration de principes actifs administrés en vue d’obtenir une maturation folliculaire et une ovulation. L’étiologie, la Physiopathologie, les moyen diagnostiques ainsi que les mesures thérapeutiques à disposition sont discutés. Un modèle théorique, basé sur l’analyse de données cliniques, nous permet d’évaluer les critères qui nous autoriseront à déterminer prospectivement le risque potentiel de voir se développer cette pathologie.

Summary

The ovarian hyperstimulation syndrom (SHO) can be defined as an iatrogenic pathology induced by active substances administered for controlling follicular maturation and ovulation. The etiology, the physiopathology, the diagnostic and therapeutic methods available are discussed. A theoretical model, based on clinical data, allows identification of a set of criteria which should help determining prospectively the chances of development of such a pathology.
