Abstract
The Geotechnical/Geological database system “Geoshare” has been progressively developed over the last five years at Queen Mary College (Wood, et al 1981). The advantages of flexible computer manipulation of such data has been shown to be of advantage in the areas of

Documentation

(ii)
Stratum analysis and identification of formation boundaries (Day, et. al)
-
(iii)
contouring and 3-D modelling (Halcrow et al, 1973);
-
(iv)
the identification of channel and interfluve succession (Wood, et al, 1983).
