The whole Community in the wide field of Computational Mechanics is celebrating Olek Zienkiewicz’s birthday. We are very proud of him due to his scientific achievements in the Finite-Element-Method and also for devoting a big lot of his energy to the nucleation, the, growth and the strengthening of the new fascinating field of simulating complicated processes within engineering systems in computers in a reliable and efficient way.
