Abstract

The basic theory for this chapter is presented in Sect. 6.1 using Maxwell’s equations. In Sect. 6.2, this is applied to rectangular, and in Sect. 6.3 to circular apertures. Then, we present practical details of single telescopes in Sects. 6.4 to 6.6.
