Zusammenfassung

Die Pyelonephritis stellt zweifellos die häufigste Nierenkrankheit dar. Man fand pyelonephritische Narben in 5–15% statistisch erfaßter Sektionen (Gloor 1966; Taylor 1955). Nur in 1/5 der autoptisch gesicherten Pyelonephritiden war die Diagnose klinisch gestellt worden.
