In Analogie zu dem Sprichwort „Kleider machen Leute“ kann man sagen „Schuhe machen Füße“. Es ist richtig, daß unzweckmäßiges Schuhwerk die kleinen Fußübel wie Hallux vulgus, Hammerzehen, Hühneraugen und plantare Warzen hervorrufen oder verstärken können. Es gilt die Regel, daß die Schuhe den Fuß schützen, aber nicht behindern sollen.
