Zusammenfassung
Die Therapiekonzepte der akuten, nekrotisierenden Pankreatitis mit Organversagen haben in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten einen erheblichen Wandel erfahren. Allgemein wird heute weder die sofortige, radikale Nekrosektomie noch die konsequent konservative Therapie als alleinige Therapieempfehlung vertreten. Vielmehr ist durch ein besseres Verständnis der pathophysiologischen Vorgänge in verschiedenen Phasen der Erkrankung auch ein differenzierteres Vorgehen unter Einsatz neuer Therapieverfahren möglich geworden.
