Tierexperimentelle Modelle zur Charakterisierung der epithelialen Transport- und Barrierefunktion des Dünndarmes im Rahmen intestinaler Adaptationsprozesse

Zusammenfassung

Die Dünndarmmukosa gehört zu den Geweben mit der höchsten Proliferations-rate im menschlichen Körper. Ihre Architektur wird durch ein sensibles Fließgleichgewicht aus Zellproliferation im Kryptenkompartiment, Wanderungsgeschwindigkeit der Enterozyten vom Kryptenboden bis zur Zottenspitze und der an der Zottenspitze stattfindenden Zellextrusion bestimmt. Insofern sind Morphologie und Funktion der Dünndarmschleimhaut keine statischen Größen, sondern können in Abhängigkeit von äußeren Einflüssen adaptativen Änderungen unterliegen. Trotz einer großen Zahl verschiedener endogener und exogener Einflüsse sind die dabei beobachteten Anpassungsvorgänge auf nur 3 Muster begrenzt, die als Hypertrophie, Atrophie und hyperregeneratorische Transformation bezeichnet werden (Abb. 1) [21].
