Das Interesse an der Untersuchung komplex zusammengesetzter Proben nimmt in verschiedenen Bereichen wie z.B. in der Naturstoff-und Lebensmittelindustrie, der Petrolchemie sowie bei der Analytik von umweltrelevanten Substanzen ständig zu. Die in solchen Proben vorkommenden Inhaltsstoffe können einen weiten Konzentrations-,Polaritäts-und Siedebereich umfassen oder Isomere mit z.T. sehr ähnlichen Eigenschaften beinhalten.
