Abstract

All synthetic and some natural polymers (e.g. natural rubber or cellulose) are heterogeneous products in different respects. The variety of molecules in a certain polymer comprises differences in molecular structure as well as in size of molecules. These inhomogeneities are a result of reaction statistics in the synthesis of polymers.
