Bei durchleuchtungsgezielten Biopsien aus Wirbelkörpern und anderen Knochen fiel die unterschiedliche Festigkeit der gewonnenen Stanzen auf: Die mit Hilfe einer Jamshidi-Nadel entnommenen Knochenzylinder konnten hart, biegsam oder brüchig sein.
