Thema dieses Kapitels ist der maligne, invasiv wach sende Analtumor; zu benignen tumorösen Veränderungen sollte der Leser in den entsprechenden Kapiteln dieses Buches nachschlagen. Im Bereich des Analkanals und des äußeren Analrands (Perianalhaut) gehören fibröse Polypen, Hidradenome der Perianaldrüsen, Condyloma acuminatum, Keratoakanthome und Leukoplakien ohne Atypien zu den nicht malignen Veränderungen. In Höhe des anorektalen Übergangs müssen entzündliche, hyperplastische und juvenile Polypen der Mukosa von einem Karzinom unterschieden werden [6, 29].
