Zusammenfassung

Komplikationen in der postoperativen Phase sind vielfach pulmonaler und/oder metabolischer Art; intraoperativ hingegen wird der Anästhesist meist mit hämodynamischen Problemen konfrontiert. Nun wird die Indikation für die Durchführung eines rückenmarksnahen Anästhesieverfahrens bei allgemein-chirurgischen Eingriffen nicht selten bei denjenigen Patienten gestellt, die schwerwiegende kardiovaskuläre Begleiterkrankungen haben.
