Radiological Functional Analysis of the Vascular System

Abstract

Angiographic representations of the heart enable us to study morphology as well as dynamic functions. The contrast medium filled cavities of the organ are depicted as shadows in an X-ray image. How their shape changes may reveal a physiological or pathologically altered status of the heart.
