Abstract

This study is an overview of the state of the roads, dealing with the number and condition of the roads mentioning the expected and needed future improvements. Stating that the importance the bridges play in the road network. Giving most important statistical figures, the most reliable and financially and technically expedient form of bridge management. Requirements and plans to the year 2000 are presented.
