Zusammenfassung

Nach der in Kapitel 1 gegebenen Begriffsdefinition verstehen wir unter Streßechokardiographie eine echokardiographische Untersuchung während und nach einer körperlichen Belastung bzw. einer pharmakologischen, psychomentalen, hyperventilatorischen oder elektrophysiologischen Streßreaktion. Ziel dieser Methode ist es, die Auswirkungen der gewählten Streßreaktion auf die Myokardkinetik zu untersuchen.
