Zusammenfassung

Maligne Tumoren der Leber können primär im Organ oder den topographisch zugeordneten Strukturen der Gallenwege entstehen oder sekundär als Metastasen von Tumoren anderer Organe die Leber befallen. Die Malignome der extrahepatischen Gallenwege (extrahepatische Gallengänge, Gallenblase, Papilla Vateri) werden wegen ihrer engen Beziehung zur Leber ebenfalls hier berücksichtigt. Komplikationen wie etwa eine Cholestase sind nicht selten Folge dieser formal extrahepatischen Prozesse.
