Zusammenfassung

Angeborene oder erworbene Deformationen des Gallengangsystems können den normalen Gallefluss behindern und zu extrahepatischer Cholestase, Cholangitis und biliärer Zirrhose führen. Sie werden klinisch (Ikterus), sonographisch, endosonographisch oder endoskopisch (ERCP) diagnostiziert. In jüngster Zeit sind auch durch Computertomographie oder Kernspintomographie detaillierte Darstellungen des Gailengangsystems möglich. Die Therapie besteht in einer Wiederherstellung des Galleflusses durch endoskopische oder chirurgische Maßnahmen.
