Chirurgische Therapie des Pankreaskarzinoms

Zusammenfassung

Das Pankreaskarzinom ist die vierthäufigste Todesursache unter den bösartigen Tumoren. Die Prognose ist nach wie vor als schlecht einzuschätzen. In seltenen Fällen besteht eine gute Langzeitprognose, wenn eine kurative Resektion bei Patienten durchführbar ist, die günstige Voraussetzungen aufweisen wie Alter <70 Jahre, frühes Tumorstadium und CA 19.9 < 400 U/ml. Die Operation mit anschließender adjuvanter Chemotherapie stellt die einzige Option dar, mit der ein 5-Jahres-Überleben von 25–30 %, bei Subpopulationen mit günstigem Risikoprofil bis 60 %, erzielt werden kann. Eine enge interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit für das optimale Outcome dieser operierten Pankreaskarzinompatienten ist notwendig.
