An Empirical Research on Correlation of Communication Companies’ Compensation Gap with Enterprise’s Performance

Abstract

This paper discusses mainly the relationship between executives’ compensation gaps and enterprise’s performances of Communication industry, with data from Shenzhen and Shanghai stock exchanges. The equation of linear regression is built, through correlation analysis and inspection, confirming the correlativity between variables. Main results are that the payment systems of Communication Services and Equipment Manufacturing industry conform to Behavior Theory, but there’s a positive correlativity between the compensation gap of general manager to other junior managers and enterprise’s performance.
