Abstract

In this paper, we present a novel network coding scheme called separate network coding (SNC) for data collection in WSNs with a mobile Base Station (mBS). SNC not only provides efficient storage method for continuous data to collect all the data segments generated in one time interval, but also maintains a high success ratio of data collection. The performance evaluation has been conducted through comprehensive computer simulation. It further demonstrates the feasibility and superiority of our scheme.
