Abstract
Physical immaterial cultural heritage have not been categorized as a separate form because it focused on cultural angle in the classification of immaterial cultural heritage. But in the ten classes of immaterial cultural heritage in China, “acrobatics and athletic” could not cover all physical immaterial cultural heritage items. Therefore, classifying physical items in immaterial cultural heritage from physical perspective which is based on their basic characteristics is not only good for inheritance of physical immaterial cultural heritage, but also provides a new idea for its protection and development at the same time.
