Abstract

The increasing complexity of knowledge-intensive applications, such as information integration, semantic search, semantic web services, collaborative knowledge sharing and exchange, demands more and more for ontology coordination systems with functionalities for knowledge discovery and acquisition to enable enhanced ontology design, maintenance, and querying functionalities [1,2].
