Abstract

In this chapter, we consider some dynamic and static problems for a half-space having elastic characteristics containing exponential functions, whereas all elements of matrix (1.3c) are assumed to vary similarly. For the isotropic case, this assumption means that Poisson’s ratio is considered to be constant.
