Abstract
This book investigates resource allocation for heterogeneous wireless networks which employ interworking, D2D communication and hyper-dense small cell deployments to enhance the network throughput, QoS support and coverage. In this chapter, the key conclusions made based on this investigation are summarized and the future research directions are discussed.
