Abstract

Geostatistics is a very useful approach that allows users to obtain meaningful information related to data in term of its distribution and patterns in GIS. In this chapter there are some applications of Spatial Statistics from the GIS environment based in the field of groundwater resources. The intention is to focus on the application of GIS rather than emphasizing on complex mathematical and statistical theories. Nevertheless, some of the tools such as Measuring Geographic Distribution, Analysis Patterns, and Mapping Clusters of the Spatial Statistical analysis will be used using groundwater data.
