Abstract

This chapter explains how the usual simplified formula to calculate thermal efficiency of an internal combustion engine is appears. Described Internet sites with the “reverse” design challenge—you must not to enter raw data and get a response, but you must enter formulas for calculations and verify their correctness (educational task).
